Why it exists

All Souls Day, on 2 November, is the day much of the world sets aside to remember the dead. But grief doesn’t wait for a date, and not everyone can get to a graveside. This site is a small, unhurried corner of the internet for remembrance that anyone can reach: no account to create, no feed to scroll, no algorithm deciding who is worth remembering.

How it works

• Write a tribute. A name is all that’s needed. You can add years, who they were to you, a few words, and a place. Each tribute gets its own page you can share.
• Light a candle. Anyone can light a candle on a tribute — a small, wordless way of saying I remember them too.
• Be reminded. If you’d like, leave your email and we’ll send one quiet reminder before All Souls Day next year. Nothing else.

What we believe about your data

We set no tracking cookies and run no advertising trackers. We don’t sell anything or profile you. Your email, if you give it, is used for one thing: the annual reminder you asked for, which you can stop with a single click at any time.
