Content Policy
This is a memorial. The wall works only if it stays a kind and trustworthy place, so a few clear rules apply to every tribute.

What belongs here
- Genuine remembrance of a real person who has died.
- Your own words, or words you have the right to share.
- Warmth, grief, gratitude, and honest memory.
What is not allowed
- Links, email addresses and phone numbers. These are automatically detected and blocked at submission — it keeps the wall free of spam and scams.
- HTML or code. Tributes are plain text; angle brackets are rejected.
- Advertising or promotion of any kind.
- Abuse, hate, slurs or harassment toward anyone, living or dead.
- Impersonation, or posting about a living person as though they had died.
- Private information about living people (addresses, contact details, and the like).
- Anything unlawful, or content that infringes someone’s rights.
How moderation works
Most tributes that pass the automated checks are published immediately. Submissions that match our blocklist of abusive or spam terms are held in a moderation queue and reviewed by a person before they appear. Content that breaks this policy is not published, or is removed if it slipped through. We keep hard limits on length and reject obviously automated submissions.
Reporting or requesting removal
If you see a tribute that breaks these rules, or you want a tribute removed — because you posted it, or because it concerns you or someone you’re responsible for — please contact hello@allsoulsday.com. Tell us which tribute (the page link helps) and why, and we’ll respond promptly.
Our discretion
Because this is a place of remembrance, we err on the side of protecting the dignity of the people being remembered and the people doing the remembering. We may remove content or restrict use to keep that so.
